Dear Joel... "I am so excited about my parents getting this for me this year. I saw my first Hotchkiss mobile at SFMOMA about 30 years ago and fell in love with their lyrical qualities it is like seeing music. Not too many years ago, I entered a home at Sea Ranch on the Sonoma County Coast and walked into another Hotchkiss mobile. It was brilliant, hanging in the high-ceilinged great room in front of a 180 degree view of the sea. My mom just gifted me the airdance and it is amazing in its fluidity as each element gently spins gracefully in the garden breeze. A beautiful addition to my garden! Fresco Sunrise
Hi Joel, I just wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying our Alumina. We finally got it hung last week since we were back and forth to CA for 2 funerals. We put it in our bedroom and just lay on the bed watching it trying to relax. The colors of blue and purple are so pretty together. You created a huge silver and black mobile for our home about 4 years ago. People's mouths fall open when they see it. It hangs from our 3rd story ceiling in our atrium filled with light. Dear Joel, My beloved "Lumen" mobile (purchased in 2004) has occupied a special place in my old office and now my new office. I practiced as a clinical psychologist where I treated patients of all ages. Regardless of age, everyone has enjoyed this beautiful "floating sculpture" artwork hanging from the ceiling.

Dear Joel, if you look back over your records, I'm sure you'll realize how much my husband and I enjoy and love your work. We have three lumens in our living room, one in our bedroom, "Calypso" in small bedroom, "feather copper" in dining room, and "feather green" in our little camp, as well as "Fresco Sunrise" in our kitchen. I was in a hospital this past week having a test in a MRI type of machine and one of your Lumen mobiles was hanging from the ceiling to calm and distract the patients.
